"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is anyone of you sick? He should call over him the elders of the church to pray over him...Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." -James 5:13-14, 16
The purpose of Resonating Prayer is to create a safe place to ask for prayer in our tough times and to offer praise in the good. Please post prayer requests on the bulletin board, and a regular e-mail will be sent to members asking for prayer in these areas.
Please pray for my uncle, Ed Sefcik. He fell from a ladder this weekend, and broke seven ribs (puncturing both lungs) his wrist, his shoulder blade, and a vertebrae. Please pray for his speedy recovery.

Please pray for Ruth's Dad, Gary. Pray for his pain to ease a little, pray for clarity in his mind, pray for his wife Franci and all of his children. He is now unable to get out of bed, on VERY strong multiple pain meds to keep him comfortable and the family is not sure how much time they have left with him.
The Marshall family has very strong faith and I know that having others pray for them all will be very comforting to them.

Update on Jennifer Martinka:
She had a ruptured brain aneurysm on Monday and had brain surgery that day. She had some complications with pressure in her brain and had a subsequent emergency surgery on Wed. night. If there are no further complications, she is expected to be in ICU for at least a couple of weeks. At this point there is a lot of conflicting information in regards to her expected recovery and level of function.
