Round Rock Area Serving Center Volunteers
Are you ready to lend a helping hand? Have you felt the pull on your heart to help those in Hutto and our surrounding communities who are in desperate need but haven't really know how to? Please join us in lending a helping hand.
The Round Rock Area Serving Center is a nonprofit social services agency and food pantry that serves the Round Rock, Hutto, and Wells Branch areas.In addition to the food pantry and Round Rock Coats for Kids, financial assistance is also provided for rent, utilities, transportation, temporary lodging, and prescriptions.
There are many ways YOU can help including, donating food to their food pantry, monetary donations, donating paper or plastic grocery bags, coats, clothing, toys and even furniture!
You can also volunteer in many areas, including stocking the food pantry, working in on site thrift store, sorting food donations, picking up food donations . . . there are a TON of different ways to help.

BIRTHDAY BAGS
They do a pretty cool thing at the serving center and I wanted to see if anyone wanted to volunteer to help out. When a parent comes in and it's their child's bday, they are given a "Party in a Bag". We all LOVE to have parties for our kids and this is such a blessing to give to parents that are unable to do so for their little ones.
Each bag is stuffed with:
1box Cake Mix
1canFrosting
Candles,Plates,Napkins,Forks
Decorations, balloons
These can be general colors, or themed even down to the age. I saw a couple different bags labeled "Cars", boys 3rd, etc. These can be made probably under $10 and is truly such a gift!
